Antenna interface standards group : ウィキペディア英語版 | Antenna interface standards group The Antenna Interface Standards Group (commonly referred to as AISG) is a non-profit international consortium formed by collaboration between communication infrastructure manufacturers and network operators with the purpose of maintaining and developing a standard for digital remote control and monitoring of antenna line devices in the wireless industry.〔(AISG web site )〕 The consortium was established in November 2001 with five original members, and as of June 2010 had 35 worldwide members based in North America, Asia, Europe, and the South Pacific. The consortium has released two versions of its standard, ''AISG v1.1'' and ''AISG v2.0'', as well as two extension specifications, ''AISG ES-RAS v2.1.0'' and ''AISG ES-RAB v2.1.0'' and is currently working on several additional extensions specifications. == Protocol ==
AISG is based on RS485 communication bus, which is a multi device bus. ALDs (Antenna Line Devices) such as CNI (Control Network Interface), TMAs (Tower Mounted Amplifiers), ACU (Antenna Control Unit), Antenna Tilt control devices can be connected in star or daisy chain.
